Putting Your Life Together You'll find information here about counselling, hypnotherapy and the kind of issues with which I can help, together with details of how you can put the pieces of your life together in a way that feels better for you.
Today life presents many different kind of challenges. Most people cope very well by simply getting on with their lives, but sometimes it feels like no-one wants to listen. The decision to see a counsellor is usually made as a result of a difficult time or trauma, either now or in the past. The "straw that broke the camel’s back" is often what makes us consider the possibility of counselling. You might notice you are not coping as well as usual but not really know why.
Often people come to counselling and hypnotherapy to talk things through with someone who is independent but with a genuine desire to support you in a non-directive way. This "safe place" enables the client to focus on their own needs and feelings, without worrying about being judged or hurting someone’s feelings. Many people worry about upsetting others or what others think of them – and end up not knowing how they feel themselves. Counselling really helps to connect you with your own emotions and put things together in a way that completes your own version of a fulfilled life.
I am a BACP accredited counsellor and hypnotherapist with over 10 years and thousands of hours of experience working full time with clients from all walks of life and with a wide range of problems. I am particularly interested in enabling clients to tune into their own inner resources to understand, empower and support themselves in difficult situations.
I see clients at Park Psychotherapy, 4 Somerset Place, Glasgow, G3 7JT, at the Abbey Mill Business Centre in Paisley and in Lochwinnoch.
